How to overcome Karma

In the Khandala retreat, Jyotish and Deviji spoke beautifully about overcoming our Karma.

Even when a person is totally liberated, past karma still applies to the person. But when a person is on the spiritual path and is able to control the reactive process bad karma has less of an impact on the person.

Karma can be overcome by controlling the reactive processes. If one is unaffected by good and bad things then one can be free of all types of karma.

Jyotish Ji  gave a different definition of good and bad karma. he said good karma is that which brings us closer to God and bad karma is that which takes us away from God. So if  a person wins a lottery and this leads him to vices then that is not good for the person.

In my life I had  a time when I lost my job, and other things happened that made me very depressed. Then I was so lost . I then joined Ananda and things changed for me. I found God at last. While I have been following other religious groups, they never fulfilled me the way Ananda does.

Ananda has Leaders who live the teachings; their humility, accessibility, joy and sincerity is so inspiring!!!!

Thank you Ananda
